How do I become a crane operator?

Most employers want you to have your crane operator certification before they will consider hiring you. Gaining your certification will help you get seat time in the crane and work your way towards a qualified operator. California Crane School offers a 3-day and 5-day class where students will get the opportunity to earn their NCCCO crane operator certificaiton. After you have received your NCCCO certification, you can begin logging hours with an employer under supervised conditions. In time, you can become a qualified crane operator.
